There's a new AI chatbot called Claude 2,
and it's the direct competitor to ChatGPT and Google Bard, and it's created by a
different AI company called Anthropic. Now, Claude 2 can do a lot of the
things that ChatGPT and Bard could do. So for example, it could do summaries
for you, it could help you with research, it could help you with writing. And it could help you
with writing code as well. Now, this is totally free to use. I'm gonna show you exactly how
to use it on the web, and it has more recent data than ChatGPT,
the free version, for example. It has training data all the way to 2023. So it doesn't have web access,
but a lot more updated data. And I'm gonna show you an example,
but this actually could handle up to 75,000 words as an input. So basically the prompt, the question
you ask it could be your data or whatever you copy and paste up to 75,000 words. And if you know about tokens, that's
about a hundred thousand tokens. Now that's a little more than
three times ChatGPT with GPT 4.

And another really impressive
part is you could upload multiple documents at the same time. Claude could actually summarize
that document for you and you could ask it any type of follow
up questions with another prompt. So to access Claude, they
have a web version @claud.ai. So I'll go ahead and link this on screen. You could just go over here to
create a completely free account. Now they also have this other
thing called Claude for business. Now this is through their A P I service. Right now, I'm just gonna show you
the chat bot that anybody could use. Now, at the time that I'm recording this,
I believe this is only available in US and Canada, but check for yourself when you go
to this website, see if you could create an account, whenever you're watching this.

So go through the setup process. It's gonna send you a login code to
your email, and it's gonna ask for your name and a name that it should call you. So you could go ahead and fill this out. And then it's gonna have a few
different pages here to tell you exactly what it's all about. And this is the chat bot, basically. So you could start a new chat, you
would type in your prompts or whatever question you have over here, and it just
gives you some samples here to test out.

So it says, help me practice
my Spanish vocabulary. So it's gonna create a very solid prompt
here, not just one sentence prompt. And you could have a back
and forth conversation here. All the answers could be copied
here if you just press copy and your follow up prompt will go over here. And any chat that you're having,
you could click over here to rename it, so you could remember it.

And refer back to it
or delete it from here. I'll press the logo here to go
back to the homepage and all your prompts and conversation appear
on the bottom of this prompt box. Okay, let me try this. Can you explain generative
ai like I'm five years old. I'm gonna ask the same
question to ChatGPT. So you kind of see the difference here. And this is pretty quick. So right away it started writing. It had no pause. So Google Bard has a little bit of pause. ChatGPT writes about the same
speed as this, at least GPT four. The free version of GPT is way faster. And it basically repeated the
question to me in a different way. It says, I'll explain generative
AI in simple terms, and it gave me a kind of a good explanation
of how generative AI came to be. And it says something about 2023, which
ChatGPT just does not do right now. At least a free version if you don't have
access with Bing browsing, for example. But this did a pretty good job. Let me go to ChatGPT. I asked the same exact question.

And this says, of course, generative
AI is like a special computer, so this is a little bit more
creative .Now on the Claude side, it didn't really tailor it to a
five-year-old, I don't think, but it gave me a really good answer. And comparing to the ChatGPT, you could
see this is kind of on the shorter side. This gave me much more detail. Okay, now let me start a new chat, because
I wanna show you something that really puts Claude on a whole different level. The other AI models, just
don't do this for free. So you have this option right here where
you could add files and interact with those files, ask them questions, get this
to summarize them for you, and you could do up to five files at the same time.

They could be 10 megabytes a piece. And this accepts PDF, text. And remember the, the token size, if you
know about token size, it could take up to a hundred k, a hundred thousand tokens. So if I go ahead and upload a file
here, I'm gonna use this one right here. This is just a scientific paper,
I downloaded her off the internet. And I'm just gonna press enter to
see what it does if I don't ask it to prompt and try to follow up. Okay. It says, based on this text, it
appears to be an excerpt from a published research paper on energy
efficient vapor compression. And it gave me a little bit
more about what it's all about.

Now I'm gonna follow up, explain the main
point in one sentence, and in very simple term, let me see what it comes up with. Let's see if it keeps it to one sentence. And if it makes it simple. Okay, so it gave me one sentence. The study developed and characterized
an efficient compact cooling system using advanced modeling. Okay, let me see if I
could simplify it more. So I'll say, explain
it to me like on five. Okay. Let's see. They made a little fridge
that keeps things really cool. The scientists tested it a bunch of
different ways to see what works best. Then they used math and computers
to understand all the parts.

So they can make even
better little fridges. That's awesome. Now this did a much better job
than my first prompt summarizing that very complicated scientific
study into something a five year old could understand. Now let me take it a different way. Let me ask you, give me the top
10 key points in bullet point format and that's awesome. It just gave me the top 10 key
points in bullet point format. And ChatGPT does have something like this. But it's not inside of their free model. So they have this thing inside
of GPT four, the paid version called Code Interpreter. I covered it in my previous video. And here, you could also
upload files using this. But now you have that as a free option
if you want to try it inside a Claude.

And I like this option of
selecting multiple documents. Now, this is not letting me do things
that Code interpreter lets me do like adding sound files or pictures, but
I could do PDF files and all kinds of different text-based documents. And this time, it's actually taking
both of those documents and then I could kind of do the same thing. I could press enter and you could see
when I give it to documents and press enter, it says the first text is this,
and then the second text is this. So it kind of took the summary here. I didn't even ask her for a summary,
but typically, It gives you these kind of summeries in bullet point
format if you upload a file. Now, let me show you the impressive
part with this too, where you could actually copy and paste a whole lot of
text, up to 75,000 words in one prompt.

Okay. So I'll go to the script I
have, I'll just show you here. Let's say the word counts on
this is over 13,000 words, so I'm gonna go ahead and copy this here. And I'll bring it over
here and I'll paste this. So first I'll write the prompt, summarize
this into 10 bullets, and I'm gonna paste, I'm just gonna right click over
here and paste all that text that I just copied over and look at this. It took my paste and made a text file. Let's see what that looks like. And here we go. We got a 10 bullet summary. Introduction to Generative AI course,
getting started with ChatGPT, Midjourney.

Very good. Yeah, this basically covers exactly
all the different AI tools I cover in that course, and it broke down
everything in a very straightforward way. Inside of ChatGPT, if I try to paste
it, it's gonna just give me this massive prompt, basically, right. And if I just press enter here, it's
not going to let me do that, right? I'm gonna get an error that
it was too long, right? But that's something I was able to
do here, and you turn it into text document just from a copy and paste.

Now there's a couple of tests
that I've seen that says this is really good for coding. So I'm gonna say, can you
write me a Python code for a basic game of tic-tac-toe. Let's see. Here's a simple Python code to
implement a basic game of tic-tac-toe. Python, copy, so I could copy
it from here and test it out. Let me try that with the
free version of G P T. And G P T wrote almost an identical code. It's about the same length as this, so
they're both capable of generating code. But again, I've seen some tests online
that says Claude could beat ChatGPT in some head-to-head programming.

Again, worth a try if you're a developer
to see which one's a better fit. But I think this is just another chat
bot that we could add to our toolkit. And Claude specially I like
because you could give it multiple files at the same time. Interact with those files and paste
a whole lot of text and get it to summarize it for you very quickly. Now, if you wanna learn all about the
latest AI tools and really stay up to date, we have an entire platform that we
just rolled out all about learning ai. It has entire courses on ChatGPT,
prompt Engineering, Midjourney, video, ai, audio ai, basically everything
that is rolling out in the world of ai that's actually useful, that
could make you more productive, in your personal and work life, and
you could try it totally for free.

You could basically get access
to all the courses, see if it's a right fit, and if you like it, you
could subscribe and keep access to everything, including all the new
courses that are rolling out every month. I'll put a link to the free trial in
the description for you to test out. I hope you found this video
useful, and I'll see you next time..
