artificial intelligence to help you bring your ideas to life in order to access Bard all you have to do is just open your web browser and go to bard.google.com that's b-a-r-d dot Google g-o-o-g-l-e.com c-o-m you can use the link in the description too but just go to bard.google.com and then you'll be able to sign in and get access to The Bard application now if you're going to try Bard you will need a personal Gmail account if you're logged in with your work account it will not work it'll give you this message board is not supported for this account because the Google workspace account you have to get access to enable Bart you also need to be over 18 years old in order to use Bard so you'll hit the sign in button in the very top right in order to get started with Bard if you don't have a Google account you will need to hit this create account button and then it asks you for personal use for my child or for my work or business I'm going to go ahead and select personal use and set up a Gmail account so I'll go ahead and type in my name and then we'll type in at find for Bard and then we'll create an easy password I recommend creating a very secure password that way you can you know stay secure on the internet so we'll go ahead and type that in and then we'll hit next phone number's optional we can type in a recovery email address and then it asks for our birthday we'll go ahead and enter our birthday and then our gender rather not to say so you can enter in all this personal information based off what the you know the facts for your birthday and your recovery email address and your gender and then hit next and then you'll need to agree to the privacy and terms this just displays how Google processes the data why they process it and you'll be able to read that information and decide whether you want to cancel or agree so we'll go ahead and agree and create our brand new Google account so now that we have created a Google account successfully and it's a personal account we'll have access to Bard so Bard can give you some ideas to surprise your movie loving friend on their birthday Bart can help you generate documentation and tutorials for source code or it can do thousands of things and it's very impressive and all you have to do once you've made your account is just click this try bar button in the very bottom right corner now it's going to pop up some terms and privacy for your data embarred the spark processes things a bit differently so some things to know you can come down here Bard uses your past conversations in the general area that you're in to provide you with its best answer you can scroll through all these different bullet points and all the text here and decide whether you want to continue with Bart it or not but in order to get access to part you will need to agree to these terms of service and these things to know for your data embarred so I'll go ahead and click the I agree button in the bottom right and we'll be presented with Bard for the very first time Bard is an experiment so as you tripart please remember Bart will not always get it right Bard may give inaccurate or inappropriate responses when in doubt use the Google It button to check Parts responses Bard will get better with your feedback please rate responses and flag anything that may be offensive or unsafe stay updated on Bard's improvements so over time as the software gets better Bard will continue to update itself and give out better response answers you can opt in to receive email updates about Bard your personal data will be processed by Google to send those emails in accordance with Google's privacy policy I'm going to not opt into the emails but we'll go ahead and hit continue and we'll get access to Bard so on the left we've got some menu options here we can reset the chat we can look at our past activity for Bard we can read the FAQ we can see what updates have been made to the BART software and helping support and then here we've got the window to where we chat with Bard this is kind of like a chat bot where you can have different prompts it can spit out answers and it says I'm Bard you're creative and helpful collaborator I have limitations and won't always get it right but your feedback will help me improve so that's one important thing about these language models is that they don't know the difference between truth or incorrect information so they may spit out the wrong answer and it's urge on to you know verify the source of that information whether we check on Google or check you know anywhere else on the internet to verify that part is providing the right answer so not sure where to start they have some prompts here outline my blog post about summer mocktail recipes write some lyrics for heartbreak Anthem titled love stick tell me about the code within the Google Jacks GitHub repo so those are some prompts that I can possibly type in I can click on them and get responses and then at the very bottom I can enter my own prompt where it says enter a prompt here so you can enter in any question question that you have or any prompt that you want for it to calculate and it will calculate it and of course at the bottom it has the disclaimer that Bart made display inaccurate or offensive information that doesn't represent Google's views and then of course in the top right you have your access to your Google account and then other apps within the Google ecosystem check out today's sponsor racketon where you can get a 30 bonus today when you sign up using the link in the description at find.org racketon you can shop at your favorite stores with over 3 500 stores to check out and you install the plugin create an account on racketon and earn cash back today it's really cool that you can come here and get paid to shop and of course you can earn your 30 bonus today using the link in the description this helps out the app find channel a lot so check out today's sponsor rackington using the link app find.org racketon so here I am on inside of Bard let's go ahead and give it a try with the first option outline my blog post about summer mocktail recipes so all I have to do is just click on this and Bard starts to process and you can see the spinning icon there as it begins the process and then it spits out some answers sure here's an outline for your blog post about some mocktail or yeah about summer Mattel recipes introduction summer is a time for fun relax relaxation and enjoying the outdoors what may be a better way to cool off and celebrate the season than with a rushing a refreshing mocktail mocktails are non-alcoholic drinks that are just as delicious and enjoyable as their counterparts they are perfect for parties barbecues and any other summer gathering in this blog post we will share our favorite summer mocktail recipes these recipes are easy to make and use fresh seasonal ingredients so gather your friends and family let's get started so here it's already provided in an outline with the introduction and some bullet points for me to start creating a blog post because the prompt was to outline a blog post for summer mocktail recipes and then next it it has a list of recipes that I could go over so it lists the watermelon version the blueberry version the raspberry honey Blackberry grapefruit they have you know over a dozen recipes here that I could list out and provide in my blog post and as we continue to scroll down it has two other parts to this prompt response where it's tips when making mocktails it's important to use fresh seasonal ingredients this will ensure that your drinks are flavorful and refreshing so it's got a few tips that I can also talk about in my blog post and then a conclusion we hope you enjoyed the summer mocktail recipes with so many delicious and refreshing options to choose from you are sure to find the perfect drink to enjoy the season so gather your friends and family let's get started and then a really neat feature of Bard is it lists its sources so here you can see a little Number One Source right here is brit.co summer mark mocktails and then it lists on the side here of number one number one where it received the source for this you can click on this and it will tell you exactly where receive the source right there brit.co summer motels and you can click on that and get the complete article from where Bard received that information and how this is very important because again Bart can spit out incorrect information but now it's telling us hey this is where I got it from and I can double check and make sure it's the right information so as I scroll down here I can see all of those various different drinks that they had that they listed the mocktails that they provided to me in the board response and I can get some inspiration from britco right here using their Source clicking the button number one on the side or scrolling down to the very bottom where it lists sources now there are a few options below sources here that I can interact with bard we've got a thumbs up for a good response we've got a thumbs down for a bad response we've got an export button to export this response and then a Google button for related searches so I'm gonna go ahead and give this a thumbs up this was a great response you know it provided me with some recipes cited the sources and now I have a complete outline in order to get started with my blog post about summer Montel recipes thanks to Bard and it makes it really easy to come in here and just you know type in an answer or type in a prompt and get an answer back instantly now there's this button up here where I can view other drafts so they got draft number two which refreshes it refreshes things a little bit so I've got another option to continue getting inspiration for from this same prompt they've got the introduction they've got the body they've got the conclusion some additional information some images I can include and call to action so if I didn't get a really good at one from the first draft here Bart has provided draft number two for me to review in even better they've got draft number three so I've got various different responses here of different outlines that I can use in order to outline my summer Montel recipe blog post and all I have to do is just click on the other draft section and it provides different drafts that I can take inspiration from and enjoy the best outline possible so this one way to interact with Bard and this is of course one of the previewed responses here we can press this reset chat button in your chat session will not be saved but you can view your prompts in the barn activity so we'll go ahead and hit reset and Bard is still an experimental phase chatting with it in raiding its responses will help improve the experience so we can go back to part here and we can look at our Bard activity just by clicking this and we can see the prompt that we clicked on earlier outline my blog post about summer mocktail recipes you can see that I gave feedback and part activities right there in the menu options button that you can click so we can enter our own prompt where it says enter a prompt here at the very bottom and I can say what are good places to visit in San Francisco question mark and Barb begins to think now if I'm planning a trip to San Francisco I see here a city with something for everyone they've got the Golden Gate Bridge Alcatraz Island Fisherman's Wharf Chinatown Lombard Street Twin Peaks Golden Gate Park Mission District height Ashbury and a few bullet point lists of things that I can check out and visit in San Francisco now you can continue this prompt or you can say what about New York and the cool thing about Bard is it remembers what you are previously talking about so it knows that I asked about good places to visit in San Francisco and now that I ask about New York it's like hey New York's one of the most popular touristy destinations in the world here's some places that you can visit in New York and I did not need to say to Bard what places would you visit in New York Bart remembers that I was talking about places to visit and as a follow-up question it's using natural language to remember hey he just asked me about places to visit in San Francisco here are some places to visit in New York and it's really neat that you can ask Bard follow-up questions as if you were talking to a human and it remembers the context of what was previously said and then it introduces some responses so here we've got the Statue of Liberty the Empire State Building Times Square Central Park all these we've got you know tons of bullet points here of places to visit in New York and all I had to do was just ask what about New York and then the best part about it is it provides the sources at the very bottom and of course the one and the top if I can click on it and it has the sources here I can click on that link and it opens up exactly where it received that information from I can double check my research and see if that information is correct and it's loading this page here it's taking a little while to load but it has successfully loaded in here I've got you know some blog posts some research what attracts us to a place in a particular Hotel so it looks like it has a lot of spots about you know NYC here and I can verify where it got that information from before I share it with other people so the fall tours it looks like they documented an entire experience here on New York research so Bard shows where New York City is one of the most popular tourist destinations in the world and for good reason there's something for everyone in New York so it shares where I got that site from and why it's there so really cool and then the best part about this is I can hit the Google It button and when I hit that button it lets me know that I can see related searches right here at the very bottom and search related topics when you press the Google It button search related topics appear immediately and you don't even have to type in a search query on Google itself you can just click best places to visit in New York pops up immediately with some search results just like you typed it in on Bard it just typed it on Google and you can come here and do your own research go read more than one source and figure out all the best places and all you have to do is just press the Google ad button and then another prompt that they suggested was is two days enough for New York you can press on that it opens up gives you a little preview here two nights it's more than enough time to discover New York City I kind of disagree with that but I would probably want to spend maybe two to five days you can also see other responses here you can still see experience much of New York in just two days how much money do I need is three days enough to go to New York so a lot of the results are saying that two to three days is enough time to go to New York and it's enough time to discover so multiple sources here have typed that but you can spend two days in New York and experience a lot so that's really interesting to learn but I can come back to Google part here I can ask Bart that is two days enough for New York and we'll go ahead and see what part comes up because we did a Google search on it we saw tons of results and a lot of them said yes now here's where Bard takes it to the next level because it's outlined instantly on day one here's some things you should do in the morning you should visit the Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island afternoon take a walk through Times Square evening CA Broadway's show so right here Bart has used artificial intelligence and it has kind of disagreed with us a little bit because the first response is two days is not enough to see everything in New York see that's how I feel but it is enough time to see the most iconic sights and attractions so it's done its research is showing you that you can do some of the most iconic sights and attractions but you should probably spend more than two days if you really want to uh you know experience full New York it says I would recommend spending at least three days in the city now if we're to compare this to the Google Search now we had a little preview here of this lovingnewyork.com article and then some question where it's like people also ask but it didn't really give us an outline of hey these are the things that you should do in New York Bard took it to the next level and outlined exactly what you should do in New York in the morning in the afternoon and in the evening and not just for day one but also for day two day two says morning visit vampire State Building afternoon explore Central Park evening have dinner in Little Italy and it's impressive that Bart can use artificial intelligence to outline your day remember that you said you wanted to spend two days in New York and then give you exactly bullet point items of what you should do in the morning afternoon and evening this is so much better than typing it into Google and then not really getting a clear answer of what you should do on day one or day two and having to click a bunch of links or a bunch of question drop downs here to see what matches your correct prompt that you entered so Bard is super intelligent I can continue to scroll down and see that this is just a suggested itinerary and I can customize it to fit my interest in time constraints and it says no matter how long you stay in New York you're sure enough to have a great time so here are some additional trips for planning your tip your trip I can book your flights and accommodations in advance especially if you're traveling during a peak season you can get New York City pass or go City card to save money on admission to popular attractions and here I have several bullet points of some additional things that can incorporate in day one or day two or even if I wanted to extend my trip to day three four or five I've got several ideas of what I can do just by asking Google bard and the assistant and you can see how much more powerful this is rather than just using the Google search and getting a limited response and having to click on various different links to piece together your itinerary so Google Bart's super incredible and super helpful I'm going to go ahead and give this a thumbs up for a good response just with little planning you can have a safe and enjoyable trip in New York now again we can use that follow-up question it knows that we're talking about planning trips so I'm going to say what about in Italy and see what it has to say you can just answer or you can provide an answer here but you can type in a question and follow up with you instantly so it's thinking and here it's planned a trip an itinerary a two-day trip to Italy in day one morning arrive in Rome and check into your hotel afternoon visit the Coliseum in Rome form evening have dinner in a traditional Roman restaurant so here it's incredible that I didn't have to say what about planning a two-day trip in Italy it just knew that I had already asked about two days in New York so following up with Italy it just created an itinerary for two days for me and it's really incredible and Powerful because you can ask Bard almost anything and it will spit out an incredible answer for you to get started on you can of course hit this export response you can draft it in Gmail and it creates a new email in Gmail just like this you just press in the open Gmail button and it opens it up for us and I've got this drafted right here in a Gmail document that I can email to my friends or family or business card leagues if I'm planning a trip to Italy and it even put the subject title in and copied everything right there for me I can export this also to Google Docs just press the export button and a new document was created you can see in the lower left and I can open to docs and here all that information is in Google Docs and I can start editing with friends family co-workers business people and it's incredible that it allows me to export this content just like that another cool way to interact with Google bard is to prompt it with a number so in the search box at the bottom where you can enter a prompt you can say what are 20 cities cities I should visit in the world question mark and let's correct the spelling we should so what are 20 cities I should visit in the world now it's going to think it's going to process and the key information part that we added in this prompt is the number 20.

So now it knows to go out and search for 20 various different cities in the world that we should visit and it puts together a comprehensive list as we see number one starting with Paris Paris France New York City Rome London Tokyo Barcelona Berlin Sydney Cape Town I cannot pronounce this one number ten number 11 Buenos Aires number 12 lesbian in Mumbai Beijing Seoul Bangkok Singapore Melbourne Vancouver and Copenhagen so we've got 20 different cities here that I should visit and I'm in this entire thread of places where I should travel so I've asked it about Italy I've asked it about New York and I've also asked her about San Francisco now you can get even more detailed with the places that you visit you can say which one should I visit first in it'll process it'll think now it knows that it listed 20 different cities and then it answers so the city you should visit first depends on your interests and preferences and then it has some specific recommendations and it goes on it goes on to be very specific here of you know which ones you should visit based off what you're interested in so if you're interested in history and culture then visit Rome London Paris if you're interested in art architecture Barcelona Berlin Tokyo Outdoors if you're interested in that maybe Sydney Cape Town Vancouver so it's really neat that I can take the context of what it previously searched and provided you with an answer for based off the prompt you provided and then give you additional details you can always ask it to go even deeper based off the information that it gives you so ultimately the best city to visit first is the one that you're most interested in so do some research read some travel blogs and talk to your friends and family to get that recommendation and once you've decided on a city start planning your trip now as we saw before we can press this Google button and it pops up some search really the topics we've got 20 best cities to visit in the world and what's the top number one city in the world we can go ahead and click on that and it shows the best cities in 2023 we can go back to Bard we can see the 20 best cities in the visit in the world we can click on that inside pop up from sources across the web so very similar if we had to Google this we would get similar information but Bard puts it in a very conversational tone and provides specific recommendations based off those interests that you may be into based off food wine Outdoors architecture and art history and culture so it's really neat that you can come in here and talk to Bar just like a normal human being and ask it any type of question or any type of prompt and it immediately help you out now we press the reset button in the top left reset chat and then it asks us your current chat session will not be saved but you can view your prompts in your Bard activity which is right underneath the reset chat button we'll go ahead and hit reset and it takes us back to our main page here and now we can ask it another prompt so we can say create a draft for my newsletter about skip ball and we can retype basketball there and see what it has to come up with so vocabard has this little thinking spinning little spiral there and here we go sure here's a draft for your basketball newsletter it dates it and it starts to talk about it now this is interesting this is the first time I've used Bard and it spit out some very incorrect information because it dates it from May 16th and it has playoff information for last year so I'm a big fan of basketball and this year the Golden State Warriors were eliminated in the second round of the playoffs by the Los Angeles Lakers but here in the first bullet point it says the Golden State Warriors are one win away from their fourth championship in eight years but that's incorrect for 2023.

This would be correct for 2022 and it looks like it's mixing up the years the Warriors are now 9-0 in these playoffs and they have a chance to close out the series Jason Tatum with the Celtics with 34 points but Boston's role players struggled to make shots so these are all facts for 2022 and totally incorrect for the 2023 NBA playoffs so that's a big mistake and I'm gonna have to rate this as a bad response and we can provide additional feedback Playoff stats were from 2022 instead of 2023 the golden State Warriors or eliminated in the 20 three playoffs Bard provided and correct information so we'll go ahead and hit the submit button we'll send that feedback back to Google but this is interesting because uh you know it makes it very clear in the beginning that Bart is an experiment and this may provide the right information but it also May display inaccurate at the very bottom they're interactive or offensive information so this is definitely inaccurate information and we've provided Google with that response but it is a template of how you can start off with the basketball newsletter you can talk about the NBA Playoffs you can talk about the college basketball you can talk about the draft so it has here the 2023 mph will be held in New York on June 22nd and that's it all for this week's basketball newsletter be sure to subscribe to stay up to date on all the news and Analysis so we can go ahead and click Google and it has a little a few prompts here but they don't really make much sense we've got basketball newsletter how can I promote my basketball Sport and how do I write basketball so I can see again here where AI it's a little wobbly when you press the Google button and it doesn't necessarily know exactly what it's talking about based off this basketball newsletter prompt but when you Google typically if you're to Google this you'd say you know how do I write a newsletter about basketball and from these prompts basketball newsletter seems like the best way but there's no context here so you can see that Bard is very clever with understanding the context where in Google search you would say how Friday basketball newsletter and then create newsletters in minutes how to create newsletters you'll also notice with the typical Google search you don't get the detail like embarred knew that we were talking about basketball and it provided very specific basketball information even though it was incorrect but with the Google search you don't get that kind of context so again this was a very bad response because it provided incorrect information we can view other drafts let's see if draft 2 is any better so the 2023 NBA finals are set to tip off on Thursday June 2nd Golden State Warriors take on the Boston Celtics this first line right here is incorrect this is information from 2022 and not 2023 the Warriors are not in the NBA finals in 2023 the NBA Finals haven't even been set for 2023.

So it's very interesting that they again got it wrong in draft two so you want to verify your information if you do use Google bard to check out your content because this is all incorrect draft three the NBA playoffs are in full swing they're not yet at least for 2023 they've not started so it looks in every single draft there is some incorrect information here based off how to write a newsletter about basketball and that's a very generic prompt we can always be more specific and say how a draft create a draft for my newsletter about Duke and I didn't even mention basketball in this I'm curious if Bard will take the context of basketball since we're talking about it but here it looks like it spits out some information about women's track and field team and then we go on to some more information about reflecting on the covid-19 policy so it I wonder if I can edit this and then say duke basketball if it will give us a better response so create a draft for my newsletter about Duke basketball and then they'll think it'll process and here we've got some information so had a disappointing season and lost to Virginia however there are some bright spots including the play of freshman Pablo Ben Caro who was named ACC rookie of the year so it looks like it provides some you know basic information here and again it's going based off last year because it's talking about a retirement of a coach a new coach has already come in so it is interesting you want to do your research you'll want to triple check it when you use Bard because it's mixing up years and dates all around which can be a very bad thing if you want your newsletter to be super accurate and very true like there's no way I can export this to a Google Document and publish it um immediately I would have to go back and re-change a lot of the dates and a lot of the formatting on this because it's spitting out information from a year ago rather than information for this year today's sponsor is L gears three in one wireless charger that lets you charge your airpods your Apple watch and your iPhone all at once just like that has a nice Sleek design for your desk or your nightstand and it charges all three of your devices your air pods your Apple watch and your iPhone all at the same time click the link in the description to purchase your three-in-one L gear charger and you can get it set up charging your Apple watch your airpods and your iPhone all at the same time just like that and it sits really nicely on your desk or your nightstand you can get it in a Black Version or White Version and it's really cool you just slide on your Apple watch just like that you put your your airpods at the very bottom and your phone wirelessly attaches just like that using magsafe technology and it looks super sleek and really nice on your nightstand so check it out use the link in the description to get your three in one wireless charger today from L gear super something super important to keep in mind when you use Bard it can help you get started but it's not the all final answer because you'll need to double check and do your own research to make sure the information that it's providing is correct and you'll also need to double check and see you know if it formatted it correctly and answered your prompt properly so let's explore some other ideas if we reset this chat we can go ahead and press the reset button what are some ideas ideas for a kid's birthday party my son is turning one and we can go ahead and enter this prompt to see what comes up so it starts to think here processing some information here are some ideas for a kid's birthday party for your one-year-old son you've got themed parties are always a hit with kids so you can be men based off animals cars dinosaurs superheroes princesses Under the Sea got some outdoor party ideas some indoor party ideas food and drinks party favors toys candy stickers balloons small gift bags so it helps you you know this is a very generic response Sun's turning one what are some ideas for a kid's birthday party and can pop in here and no matter what you choose to do make sure the party is something that your son will enjoy so this was a pretty good response it offered to my ideas it's hard to get this answer incorrect because you can do a ton of things for your kid's birthday party I can say what are some what are some baby shower ideas uh and we can see what that comes up with so Bart goes out to think it processes and then of course spits out some more answers so some baby shower ideas theme parties are always a hit animals blush and blue gender reveal jungle we can scroll down outdoor parties so what's interesting about this response is it's kind of mixing the two questions together it's you know mixing the birthday ideas with the baby shower because it's remembering that context I'm curious if we go down to other drafts if we go to draft two here just by pressing the view of the drafts button in the top right of the question we can come here and see what other version of this will look like so it has a better process here with draft two choose a theme for your baby shower and decorate accordingly food serve food that is both delicious and easy to eat with your hands games play some fun games to get your guests interacting and then Gifts open gifts are then in the shower so favors give your guests a small favor to take home with them some ideas include personal size cookies sugar scrubs bath bombs scented candles small plants so here are some additional tips for funding baby shower this is great information it you know the strap number two answered it perfectly it helped me out with a theme food games gifts favors and I'm able to also come in here and you know we can give it a thumbs up as a good response I can Google this and see how that compares baby shower ideas and then get some images for baby showers and what are some ideas for a baby shower who plant your baby shower can see some of the questions here and of course it sources the amount and let you know where to click to find that information so really cool how I can come in here and find out you know contacts from Bard it gives it a conversational format and makes it really easy to check out and really awesome that you know for questions where it provides factual information we may want to you know double check that but for things that are you know just ideas maybe you can say write a poem about technology and see what pops out here so this is probably like a creative response and here it goes oh technology how you've changed the world from the way we communicate to the way we learn and work and it was able to spit this out pretty fast but I'm curious can it shorten this can I give it a specific response make this and once and uh let's say three sentences shorten this two three sentences so it'll remember the context because it's a follow-up question sure here's a shortened version of my poem about technology in three sentences technology has changed the way we communicate and learn and work it has made it easier to stay connected learn new things and work from anywhere however it is important to use technology wisely and not let it control us so really cool how you can give it a creative prompt here and when it's not factual or not about you know a specific thing that is just grabbing information off the random web it's a really good idea to come in here and brainstorm and help out with you with your content ideas if we come in here and say create a YouTube script about Bard let's see what it comes up with so it knows YouTube and knows scripts and knows that's video we'll see if it comes up with a creative response here hi everyone and welcome to my channel I'm going to be talking about Bard which is a language a large language model from Google AI Bard is trained on a massive data set of text and code and it can generate text translate in languages write different kinds of creative content and answer questions in an informative way so what is Bart is a powerful tool that can use for that can be used for a variety of purposes for example you can use R to generate text such as blog posts articles scripts translate languages write different kinds of contact creative content poems Story songs answer your questions in an informative way so it's interesting that it provides this you know you've got the intro you've got what it's barred how does Bard work what can I do with Bard the conclusion and then the outro the outro is really cool thanks for watching if you found this video helpful be sure to subscribe to my channel be sure to subscribe to that fine Channel because we love talking about this technology content here hit the Bell icon so you're notified when I upload new videos seriously thank you guys have a good one bye so it's interesting that I crafted a entire YouTube script for me to talk about Bard and knows what Bard is and knows what YouTube is and it broke it down for me I can view other drafts of this we can see draft two and it breaks it down very similar what is barred how does Bart work what can Bart do how can I use Bard is part available to the public so really cool I can check out draft three and it has very similar information and just like this you can have it to your YouTube scripts you can have it help
